Michael Whelan is a national award winning author, storyteller, and musician. Over two dozen of his works have been broadcast on stations such as National Public Radio. For over thirty years Michael has taught a variety of college classes in Celtic myth and Irish folklore, and the Salem Times has referred to Michael as “the premier Irish storyteller in the Northwest.”

​Michael resides in Portland, Oregon with his wife, and two sons.
